About Me

The clizollege search and application journey can be a very exciting, yet stressful time for students and families. Lengthy applications, confusing test schedules and challenging essays can be a major source of tension and anxiety. In the beginning, the process may feel long and complicated, becoming rushed and hectic as deadlines approach...then the wait begins. Before you know it, the May 1 decision day is here.

I created my college advising practice to provide a calm, organized environment where students can focus on their unique set of strengths, experiences, academic aspirations and expectations. My objectives are to help students and families reduce stress and gain confidence by teaching them how to navigate the college admissions world and find the college that best fits their goals and interests.

I provide expert evaluation, analysis and guidance so that no matter where a student falls on the academic spectrum, he or she can shine on college applications!

Testimonials

Blaine had a year of City College under his belt. He had taken a variety of GE classes in search of a major, but he was still searching. Not having a major was making it hard for him to choose a 4 year school to transfer to. Working with Liz helped Blaine figure out what he wanted and didn't want in a major and what types of schools he would like. He is now very confident in his major choices and is applying to many of the schools Liz suggested.
